Respiratory infection (RTI) is one of the leading factors death in children India. In most countries, RTI a common cause hospitalisation under five years old. There are different guidelines for management various type RTI. Most these, emphasis on use antibiotics specific sub While literatures recommend avoiding antibiotic viral infections, they mostly suggest beta lactams as first line drugs. Depends patients, amoxicillin remains drug choice out-patients. case hypersensitivity to penicillin, cephalosporin commonly will be substituent. If and atypical organism found, need switch other such macrolides. this research, we aimed briefly review current regarding selection paediatrics suffering from respiratory tract infection.
